I’m a product builder. I founded Make10000hours, a productivity app with ~10K users, including people from YC, Stanford and MIT. Before that, I built products at VNG on Zalopay, where my product portfolio reached ~1.25M+ monthly traffic.
I like taking a product from a blank page to real users: talking to users every week, designing the UI, writing the code, and growing it through search and content. I’m open to product roles, and I also take on freelance work.
My first product job was at VNG, on Zalopay. I built Zalopay Food to compete with GrabFood, ShopeeFood and BeeFood, and worked with BigC, Co.opmart, Winmart, KFC, Jollibee, Burger King and Popeyes to bring their stores online. I also owned merchant products like Canteen, Survey and ZNS.
My favorite project there was a lottery results mini app. I cold called Vietnam’s top lottery providers, negotiated by phone, and closed a $0 fee API deal with Minh Chinh Agent. The app regularly reached no. 1 in local search traffic.
Then the startup call kept ringing in my head every afternoon at 5 PM, so I left to build Make10000hours.
I did the whole cycle myself: research, design, code and growth. I ran weekly user interviews with people in the US, Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam, and turned what I heard into features. Viral posts on Reddit and Facebook brought ~2M impressions, and SEO brought 2.74M Google Search impressions in a year.
Along the way I hired a CTO, a founding engineer and a growth intern, raised an angel check, and reached the final round at Iterative VC.
Now I’m looking for my next product role, where I can do the same work with a bigger team.
